Well, if you think about it, the minister and groom will see the chestpiece; everyone else will be looking at the dueling pistols, coz the bride’s back is to them. So there’s that.

I still don’t see the correlation of the back piece “ruining” the bride’s outfit or look.

Yeah, I guess that’s true. Maybe I’ll just wear a cast and not let people feel sorry for me and they can just draw stuff on it.
